About Third Space
Shannon Jamison, RPP, MCIP
Eric Swanson
Founded in 2015, Third Space Planning is a boutique consulting firm led by wife-and-husband team Shannon Jamison and Eric Swanson. Shannon is a city planner (RPP, MCIP) with over a decade of experience helping local governments craft and implement effective policy, access funding and manage key projects. Eric is a veteran of public interest non-profits, with 15 years experience in policy, operations and public engagement. We take our name from the concept of “third spaces”, which are places in between home and work that foster connection, belonging and community wealth.
